Worn since ancient times, the stone has been fabled to increase athletic endurance, stop bleeding, and protect against poison. This bloodstone ring (circa 1900 1910) features a deeply saturated bloodstone set into a simple 10k gold mounting. The ring is in good condition with light surface wear to the bloodstone and two small crimps on the rim of the band.
