Drouhin Laroze, Chambolle Musigny Vintage:2016 50% of the volume was(a mix of 80% Les Baudes and 20% from the villages portion of Les Vroilles). This too is noticeably reduced and tough to read. There is however a lovely sense of underlying tension to the rich, punchy and powerful medium bodied flavors that are overtly muscular though not rustic on the impressively complex and lingering finish that is presently quite compact. This isnt especially elegant but it certainly doesnt lack for character or stuffing. (90 93)
