At first it appeared the clouds may be a little better north of my location but just after that thought this occurred making it a great sunset over the Mile High City of Denver

The lower sunlight helps reflect the gold leaf on the dome itself and highlights the image amongst the changing trees

including the City and County of Denver

This year was no different as I silhouetted the downtown skyline to capture the color of the sky and the lines of downtown. These lines continue to change as Denver the growth of the city remains.
