It's an extremely resilient and temperature resistant material, used in our V2 press applications to thermally isolate the platens. It may also be used on top and below a cage, to increase efficiency of the heat controller, balance platen temperatures, and preserve the life of your hydraulics. *Note, all V2 presses come standard with this insulation installed.
