Large Earthenware Pitcher, Girard, France. Early 20th century. Spring Sale! Crafted from terracotta and partiallyA very interesting and authentic antique side handled earthenware pitcher from the Western French countryside, of good scale and featuring a deep brown applied glaze externally and speckled dark yellow glaze internally. The texture is lovely and ever so slightly crackled at a tiny scale, whilst the only condition reports of note are a couple of blunt chips most notably to the spout tip.
