This vibrant blue is based on an ultramarine pigment, synthesised in 1826 for use in the gardeners' bothy at Calke Abbey in Derbyshire. With its inherently happy feel, Bothy Blue is a brilliant wall colour for family rooms. Archived colors can still be mixed in store; however, sample pots are discontinued, and are only available while supplies last. Recommended Primer & Undercoat:
